im sure mum is the harbinger of all non-fun related things. not to mention mood swings, especially in the form of anger, stress, sorrow, depression...etc. im starting to wish she hasnt come back :/ to be honest i did get used to her not being around because she was still nagging to us on the phone anyway. we were happy/scared on the way to the airport; in the end it was more scared than anything because she refused to smile or say hello when we arrived at the pick-up bay. the first thing she said was "why are you guys late?"
ok...we were a little late because who knows she was going to be so quick with the luggage and customs. she didnt even say hello i miss you all long time no see whatever = = none of us dared to open our mouths as she chucked a fit. ohhh...how fun. after being away from aus for 4 months...this is what we get.
not dwelling on the unpleasant parts of life, or rather trying to resolve 'conflict', dad confronted her today during dinner at Sizzlers at toowong. and basically what happened was she finally realized how great dad was an how sulky she was and that we had to deal with her bad moods while we were the ones having a hard time. i shall digress here...its still a little disturbing & not to mention - daunting.
on the other hand, the good side of today was that my brother and i attended a new youth group at toowong side and it was good. i met a girl from st peter's lutheran college who does the ib as well, only she's ib1 not ib2 like me. which does make all the difference!! haha. oh well, close enough, now the whole "you know you're an IB student when IBers = friends" theory is coming true hahaha. but the other people present were really friendly and nice people too hahaha. hopefully this is a good place to settle (:
this is the point where i shall go...and work on my EE. oh joy. on approximately 2933 words at the moment, another 1067 to go? hahahha what fun. by the way, i realized i am quite proud to be an ib candidate. i really am, most of the time anyway. HAHA.
